The Virtual Enterprise  Project (click picture to visit the Transporter): It's a measure of the success of Star Trek that supporters from all over the world wish to partake in it's vision.  As a first small step in this direction I would like to create a small virtual environment for people from everywhere to join the crew of a virtual starship, and to interact in the known surroundings. A VRML Enterprise could set the stage for entrants to be 'cadets', more experienced players to become 'officers', etc...  I would like to see diversity at play,and how different characters react to unexpected situations.  This could be simulated in the virtual world of cyberspace.  Would Paramount itself not be interested in setting this up in collaboration?   Discuss this idea on the Message Board
